thus的三种用法

1、作为连词，连接两个句子，表示因此、所以的意思。例如：

She didn't study for the exam, thus she failed it.

（她没有为考试学习，所以她失败了。）

2、作为副词，表示这样、如此的意思。例如：

The weather was thus that we had to cancel the picnic.

（天气如此之坏，我们不得不取消野餐。）

3、作为形容词，表示这样的、如此的。例如：

The thus far unexplored region is full of surprises.

（到目前为止未开发的地区充满了惊喜。）

4、用于表示推论、结论等。例如：

He has been working hard all year, thus he deserves a promotion.

（他整年都在努力工作，因此他应该得到晋升。）

5、用于表示时间，表示到目前为止。例如：

Thus far, we have not received any complaints.

（到目前为止，我们没有收到任何投诉。）
