in的用法总结（二）

1、 往里面；在里面

例句：She dived in and swam out to the yacht.

          她跳进水里，游向游艇。

          Eric held the boat steady whilethe children got in.

          孩子们上船时，埃里克把船扶稳。

2、 在建筑物里，进入建筑物里[尤指居住或工作的地方]

例句：Come in and sit down.

         进来坐下。

         We are staying in this evening.

         我们今晚不外出。

3、 [火车，船或飞机]已经到达。

例句：Our train is not in yet.

          我们的火车还没进站。

          When is her flight due in?

           她乘坐的航班什么时候到？

4、 递交[某人] ， 送至[某机构]

 例句：All entries must be in by next week.

          所有参赛作品必须在下周之前提交。

          Letters have been pouring in from all over the country.

          信件从全国各地纷至沓来。

5、 填写；着色；加画

例句：Fill in your name on the form provided.

         在所提供的表格上填上你的姓名。

6、be in for sth 将要遭受不愉快的事

例句：Whoever breaks the school windows will be in for trouble!

         无论谁打破了学校的窗子, 都要受罚。

7、be/get in on sth 参与某事

例句：I think you ought to be in this discussion, Alice.

         我认为你应该加入这场讨论，爱丽丝。

8、 be in with sb 与某人有好[非正式]

例句：She's in with the theatrical crowed.
