English：以take开头的动词短语

1、【take out】

1. 在餐馆服务员会问：

Do you want eat in or take out. 是在这里吃还是外带。

2. 字面上的意思:

Take the book out of the drawer.  把书从抽屉里拿出来。

3. 俚语，把人干掉的意思。

They want to take someone out. 意思是他们想干掉某人。

2、【take in】

1. 如果你变瘦了，衣服显大，裁缝把你的衣服变小一些：

The tailor will take your shirt in. 裁缝会把你的衬衫弄得更合身。

2. 有领养的意思，如你在街边看到一只狗：

You take it in. 意为 把它带回家，想养它。

3、【take over】

1. 取得控制权：

如：你收购其它公司：

I'll take over your company. 我会取得你公司的控制权。

如：我正处于疲劳驾驶，我可以对副驾说：

Can you take over the driving? 你能来驾驶吗？

4、【take up】

1. 学习：

I'm taking up English. 最近我在学英语。

2. take up + with 表讨论：

You can take up this problem with your classmate.  你可以和同学讨论这个问题。

5、【take after】

1. 在特征和行为上很像：

I take after my mother. 我和妈妈很像（在性格和行为方面）

6、【take back】

1. 取回。如我借了钱给别人：

I'll take my money back. 我将要回我的钱。

2. 道歉。比如我说了一些难听的话。可以说：

I take it back. 意为道歉。但其实也是收回的意思。语境不一样，多体会语感。

7、【take off】

1. 起飞：

The airplane takes off. 飞机起飞了。

2. 成功：

The business takes off.  生意大兴了。可理解为业务都做上天了，肯定是发了。其实想想和第一个解释也挺像。

8、【take on】

1. 挑起责任：

I don't know how to do it, but I'll take it on. 虽然不知如何下手，但我会完成它。

2. 挑战。如有人和你不对付：

I'll take him on.

9、【take down】

1. 被打倒：

He is much bigger than me, so he took me down. 他比我壮太多，所以被打爬下了。

2. 写笔记：

Take down the most important information on paper. 记录下最重要的内容。
