1、【look up】

1. 向上看：

Look up, see that plane flying. 快看，有飞机。

2. 查找。

You can look the word up in the dictionary.  你可以查字典找到这个词。

2、【look up to】

1. 你想成为什么样的人（你的偶像）：

When I was young, I look up to my parents. 当我小时候父母就是我的偶像，我想成为他们一样的人。

3、【look down】

1. 往下面看：

Look down on the ground. 往地面看。

4、【look down on】

1. 俯看某人（意为某人不如你，看不起某人）：

You're the best one in the class, so you look down on the others. 你是班上最好的，所以你看不起别人。

5、【look over】

1. 看过去：

1. 照料（take tare of）：

8、【look though】

1. 仔细检查：

The police go to the suspect's house, they will look through their garbage to find any clues. 警方去了嫌疑人的房子，他们会通过垃圾来寻找线索。

I want you could look through my essay, before I sent it to our teacher. 我想在发送给老师前，你帮我看看我的论文有没有什么问题。（仔细检查）

1. 调查：

10、【look out】

1. 小心：

1. 向四周看：
